The Four Major Wagers in Craps

Craps is considered to be one of the most ancient games all over the world. It is played in the same like before. In ancient times, craps is only for the enjoyment of the nobility particularly the king and the court. But nowadays everybody can enjoy the game even in a live casino or the numerous casinos in the Internet. The game may have changed in some factors but it does not have changed that much. One of the big changes is the wagers in the game.

Craps appeared during the 12th century and there were four known wagers that players can make. The four original wagers in the game are the Pass Wager, Do Not Pass Wager, Come Wager and the Do Not Come Wager. There are now currently fifteen additional wagers in the game. The main problem is that these 15 additional wagers only make your life complicated while playing the game.

Majority of craps players actually do not fully understand these games and cannot differentiate one wager to another. In all honesty, it is really somewhat difficult to understand and keep in mind all of the different wagers that are available in craps. Craps is classified as a casino table game and the two dices in the game is its main element. The main goal in the game is to correctly and accurately guess the dice combination in the game.

You have to then make a wager on these combinations and it will be measured with the final result of the dice. The sheer number of wagers that are available in craps makes life really difficult for a typical player like you. Aside from the four original wagers, some of the wagers in the game are the field, large six, large eight, lose, hardway wagers and others. These new craps games appeared in the eighteenth century. All of these new wagers only increase the casino advantage over gamblers.

You can try to use these new wagers and there is a chance that you may win, but the original four wagers is still the best option if you want to make some profit. The Pass Line wager is very well-known to gamblers. With the pass line, you will automatically win if the crapshooter rolls a seven or eleven. If the shooter rolls a two, three or twelve, then the wager is lost.

If any other digit is rolled in the game, it will be called a point and from that point you can make an odds wager. In the Do Not Pass Line wager, you will automatically win if you have a total of three; two or twelve is rolled by the crapshooter. Your wager will be lost if the number seven or eleven comes out during the dice roll. The Pass Wager, Do not Pass Wager, Come Wager and the Do Not Come Wager are the wagers that you can rely on the game.
